First, Fun Facts about Me!

Even though I am a social butterfly, I am an introvert who loves time with herself. I love meeting people from different countries because my parents exposed me at an early age to culture and different foods. Traveling with them and my siblings enriched my life and that is priceless. I am a foodie (yes, I am) and quite adventurous when it comes to eating what some would consider “weird”, I will try it (but I draw the line with any food moving on my plate!). I have eaten fried caterpillars and candied crickets!! Delicious!

Welcome!

Hi! I’m Dr. Wanda (as my clients call me), a physician and public health educator passionate about helping busy professional women and organizations create sustainable wellness solutions. My journey in healthcare has shown me that true well-being goes beyond diets—it’s about balance, emotional health, and practical strategies that fit into real life.

What Inspired Me to Create Not Another Diet Wanda

As a physician and public health educator passionate about helping busy professional women and organizations create sustainable wellness solutions. My journey in healthcare has shown me that true well-being goes beyond diets—it’s about balance, emotional health, and practical strategies that fit into real life.

While teaching health courses, I saw firsthand how adult learners (especially women) struggled to balance work, school, family, and their health. Many women face challenges with cravings, emotional eating, stress, and digestive issues, and I realized there was a gap in support for them.

That’s when I knew I had to create Not Another Diet Wanda—a space where women could find real solutions tailored to their busy lives without feeling guilty or deprived.

Why I Do This Work

Being fired in 2013 facilitated my decision to fill in that gap of combining my passion for health education and people by providing solutions that can easily be implemented. I believe that health advocacy helps many in asking questions and being engaged in the treatment protocols that healthcare professionals offer.

Furthermore, health education should be accessible, practical, and empowering. More importantly, health advocacy can My goal is to help professional women, home healthcare agencies, and organizations improve their approach to wellness by addressing mental wellness. Whether it’s managing stress, preparing healthy meals, or implementing workplace wellness programs, I’m here to provide guidance that makes a real difference.
